Do you take second hand baby clothes?

Yes please, we do take second hand clothes that are in perfect, freshly washed condition. Please do not donate any clothes that are stained, well worn or bobbled.

Do you take larger baby clothes?

No thanks, we can only take tiny baby, newborn and 0-3 month clothes as we only give out newborn baby starter packs.

Do you take maternity wear?

No thanks, we don’t take maternity clothes

Do you take larger items like buggies, cots, bouncy chairs, high chairs, car seats etc?

No thanks, everything we give out is packed into a Moses basket so it’s a very specific list of items that we accept. Unfortunately, we do not have storage space for any larger equipment items. Check out our donations list.

Do you accept formula?

No thanks, we don’t give out formula

Do you accept used baby bottles?

No thanks, but brand new bottles would be greatly appreciated.

Do you take Moses baskets, stands and mattresses?

Yes, we take Moses baskets that are in perfect, safe condition. No fraying on handles or anywhere else that will compromise safety. Baskets must be clean with freshly washed covers/liners. We cannot take basket mattresses as we put a brand new mattress into every basket to keep inline with SIDS guidelines. We do take Moses basket stands that in a good, safe condition with no missing parts.

Do you accept open packs of nappies, breast pads etc?

Yes please, we can take opened packs of nappies, breast pads, maternity pads etc, we will bundle them together to make bigger packs.

Please note - we cannot accept opened/used toiletry items.

Can I knit for you?

Yes please! We love to add handmade knitted items into our baskets. We welcome donations of newborn cardigans, booties, mitts, hats and blankets.

What size blankets shall I knit?

We love all of the blankets our knitters make for us. The minimum size the blankets need to be is 60cm x 70cm please.

I’d like to volunteer, who do I contact?

Please contact your local branch via email or Facebook message. Branches may have differing volunteer needs depending on space in their premises, time of year etc. At times we may need volunteer help, other times we may be full and may need to get back to you at a later date when we need more helpers.
